Bobby Wolter

Bobby was taken from us on August 22nd, 2009. This was the bio that Bobby wrote for himself on June 4, earlier the same year, when Brian and Bobby Speak was launched.
Bobby Wolter was born on March 18th, 1981 and grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia in a town called Berwyn with his older sister and two younger brothers. He was an active kid and accomplished swimmer in his younger years. Because he was so active he wasn’t diagnosed with CF until he was 12 years old. Bobby went to Conestoga High School and went on to attend the University of the Arts and graduated with a degree is Music Performance, percussion being his focus.
Music became a passion of his around the age of 13 and he has played in many Philadelphia based bands. Most notably Love Syndicate, The Weeds, The Adrian Mowry Band, Shooting Ropes, Steph Hayes and the Good Problems, and REDFORD. As his health has become more of the focus in his life playing music has taken a back-seat. He still plays out with The Weeds and REDFORD on occasion and is on a never-ending quest to make the perfect album. He lives in Malvern, PA with his family consisting of his Dad, Step-Mom, little brothers Luke and Noah, and little sister Gracie. And of course his sidekick and best friend for life, his dog Oscar.
Since the age of 21 he has been under the care of the Doctors and Nurses at PENN Presbyterian’s Adult CF Clinic. Without them he would not be where he is today; which is Happy, Healthy (for the most part), and full of LIFE.
